Medical / Dental Appointments

Where possible, please make medical and dental appointments outside of school hours.  Where this is not possible, to maximise your child's attendance in school, please make appointments that don't interfere with morning registration at 9am and afternoon registration at 1.00/1.15pm.

To arrange for your child to leave school for an appointment, please contact the school office on 01206 210415 or admin@greattey.essex.sch.uk and request an Appointment Absence Request Form, stating the times of the appointment and the times you will be collecting and returning your child.  Evidence of the appointment, such as the appointment letter, will need to be provided before absence can be agreed.  If the appointment has been booked by telephone, evidence will be required on your return so please request a signed appointment card or letter from the medical professional.
